The Acadia Disposal District is a quasi-municipal, non-profit corporation owned by the Member Towns: Cranberry Isles, Frenchboro, Mount Desert, Tremont, and Trenton, Maine.
We are organized and governed by a Board of Directors consisting of one representative from each Member Town, appointed by the Town. The Member Towns are represented equally; each town gets one vote.
