Universal Waste Collection – Towns using the EMR Transfer Station in Southwest Harbor
Universal Waste can be brought to the EMR Transfer Station in Southwest Harbor on the 2nd Saturday of each month, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Universal Waste Collection – Bar Harbor
Bar Harbor residents can bring their Universal Waste items to Bar Harbor’s transfer station during any hours the station is open. Bar Harbor residents should not bring Universal Waste to the island HHW/UW Collection Day, since they have that service in their community, but are welcome to bring Household Hazardous Waste to the Waste Collection Day.
